SUMMER WORKSHOPS FOR KIDS
SATURDAYS 9am -12pm
June 15th : Tire Sandals
Flexible thong sandals made from used rubber tire inner-tubes
June 29th: Soda Can Flowers
Cans cut into petals, glued together, painted and mounted into a frame. Frames will be upcycled/repurposed also.
July 20th: Box Cajon
(percussion instrument originally from Peru) made from cardboard, reinforced and beautifully decorated. Will include a lesson on how to play.
August 10th: Milk Jug Fair House
Using plastic jugs of various shapes and sizes, we can create a whole fairy village!
- Each Saturday class is $35 per student and scholarships are available! Call Jennifer Schmidt at (580)765-9746 for more information.
- Any child enrolled in one or more classes will be invited back for a free Saturday “Fun Day” to build a large mural made out of recycled material!
