Glass Fusion Class by Audrey Schmitz
April 4th and 11th (Thursdays)
Creating luminous pendants, ornaments, suncatchers and much more is the focus of Glass Fusion, an introductory two-session class on the art of fused glass offered by Audrey Schmitz. Along with learning the basics, attendees will experiment with adding glass dots, confetti, stringer, mica, copper foil and nichrome wire to achieve one-of-a-kind works. No prior experience is required.
Glass Fusion will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday April 4 and 11. The class fee of $40 does not include the cost of the specialized art glass. The price of the materials needed for each student will vary with the projects – for example, a pendant or small ornament will start at $5. Attendees can choose to make one or more items during each session, and all materials will be available for purchase on site.
Glass Fusion is limited to ten (10) students. For more information about the class, contact Schmitz at 580.628.0108 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The class must have a minimum of 6 students or it will be cancelled.
